Architecture

The architectural layout is organized into clear zones to support efficient flow and guest comfort: a public dining area on the ground floor, a private family section upstairs, and a central service core with the kitchen, bar, and restrooms. Staff areas are also discreetly integrated. At the entrance, guests are welcomed into a semi-secluded waiting area, with nearby access to the upper floor via staircase and elevator. The ground level is anchored by a central seating zone, while the bar and kitchen are positioned at the rear for smooth operations and minimal disruption. Upstairs, the family area maintains privacy while overlooking the lively space below, connected visually through a curved mezzanine edge that mirrors the form below. The recessed façade provides shade and reduces heat gain, while high-performance glazing allows natural light in without compromising thermal comfort.

Interior Design

The interior design brings the smokehouse concept to life through a clear and functional layout that reflects the restaurant’s identity. Varied seating zones are created through changes in furniture, materials, and floor levels while unified finishes maintain visual cohesion. The sunken central seating area, defined by light gray flooring and anchored by a symbolic apple tree, serves as the brand’s focal point. Semi-circular sofas and a matching circular light fixture emphasize this centerpiece. Decorative wood stacks and thoughtful zoning reinforce the connection between the interior and the restaurant’s culinary experience.

Design Philosophy

The design philosophy centered on integrating the brand identity into the space in subtle yet impactful ways. Circular and curved elements echoing the brand’s visual language are incorporated throughout the layout, elevations, lighting, furniture, and even the floor patterns. These gentle, rhythmic forms are also reflected in the internal zoning of the ground and upper floors, where spaces are organized to create a natural flow and balanced proportions. This consistent approach brings a sense of harmony and cohesiveness, ensuring that the environment not only supports the culinary experience but also tells a story that guests can see, feel, and remember.
